It was from May 20, 2016 that neutral packaging for cigarette packs was progressively implemented in tobacco shops, before becoming mandatory from January 1, 2017. According to Public Health France, the absence of a logo would have damaged seriously the image of the product among smokers. .

The Government is targeting these vaping devices, particularly the disposable ones, also called puffs, which will be permanently banned through a bill that will reach the public session of the National Assembly on December 4.
In recent weeks, health professionals have pointed the finger at these disposable vaping devices, very popular among teenagers, which sell on average between 8 and 12 euros.
“If you ingest this product for several months, you have a 100% chance of becoming addicted to nicotine. It is very clear,” Amine Benyamina, head of the psychiatry and addictions department at the Paul-Brousse hospital in Villejuif, told BFMTV.
