The seasonal flu epidemic has spread throughout France, while the bronchiolitis epidemic affects twelve regions, the French Public Health (SPF) indicated this Wednesday, December 18.
In the week ending Sunday, December 15, eight regions entered the flu epidemic, all of them in the epidemic phase, in “all age groups”, except Corsica which entered the “pre-epidemic”.
A “low or moderate” level of intensity
And abroad, only Martinique was in a pre-epidemic situation, the health agency’s bulletin states.
In France, the bronchiolitis epidemic also affected all regions, but compared to previous years, its level of intensity was classified in this phase as “low or moderate”, it indicates.
Regarding Covid-19, the indicators remain “generally stable at low levels” compared to the previous week.
