A position that does not pass. The Renaissance deputy (ex-LaREM) Michel Lauzzana declared last Wednesday to southwest be ready to work with the RN, but want to fight LFI. This announcement angered some rebel MPs like Alexis Corbière on Twitter on Sunday.
“At least, it is clear. But how far will they go in this alliance to block our proposals?” she lamented.
“Succulent combo,” tweeted Nadège Abomangoli, a rebel elect from the 10th district of Seine-Saint-Denis.
“Step by step fight” against the rebels
In the local newspaper, the renaissance deputy for Lot-et-Garonne declares that he wants to “fight step by step against the elected officials of the LFI who propose a systematic opposition only because of their position.”
The former socialist rants by passing the position of the First Secretary of the party Olivier Faure who fiercely supported the agreement between the PS and the LFI, evoking an election that “leads to disaster”.
“You don’t have to do ideology just to do ideology,” he said.
A desire to “advance the territory”
On the contrary, the deputy says he is “willing to work hand in hand with the RN deputies” in his region. His motivation for him? “Advance the territory,” he explains. However, he claims to be concerned about the rise of the extreme right and populism in Europe.
Emmanuel Macron had declared last June shortly after the results of the legislative elections were known that RN and LFI are not “registered (have) as governing parties.” He recently brandished the threat of dissolving the National Assembly if the opposition voted for a motion of no confidence in the pension reform.
