This Sunday, PAN leader António Costa accused the Portuguese of “pulling the wool over their eyes” with a “euphoria that contrasts with the suffocation in which families live” and offering “a handful of nothing” to young people.
The People-Animal-Nature (PAN) party held its political ‘rentrée’ this Sunday in Oeiras, with the theme ‘Our Common Home’, and Inês Sousa Real took the opportunity to take stock of the work it was carried out last year. “a political year full of challenges”, and present the challenges for the future.
“The country of this government is not the country that the Portuguese need and it is not the country where people are fighting for better living conditions,” the PAN leader defended, pointing out that “the first term was characterized by a policy of crisis. and unprecedented instability.”
He accused the Socialist government of “continuing to waste public funds” and the Prime Minister of “euphorically announcing a handful of nothing”, referring to the measures proposed to support young people, namely the reimbursement of a year tuition paid for each year of work performed in the country.
