The parliamentary return to the National Assembly takes place in a tense atmosphere. Although debates have not yet resumed in the chamber, discussions on various texts began this week in the various committees of the Bourbón Palace. During the night from Wednesday to Thursday, shortly before 2 in the morning, the bill for full employment was approved in the Social Affairs Commission… despite the absence of several opposition deputies.
In fact, MPs Nupes, Liot and LR left the room, refusing to debate such an important bill in the middle of the night, explained rebel MP Hadrien Clouet in a video posted on X, ex-Twitter.

“It is 00:40 and all the democratic oppositions have abandoned the Social Affairs commission. The conditions of the exams are unacceptable,” he denounces.
“Tonight we were offered to finish the text at night, which meant studying the parts related to early childhood and disability at 2 or 3 in the morning,” explains fellow ecologist Marie-Charlotte Garin.

This bill, largely passed by the Senate in July, should lead to the France Travail network, include Pôle emploi as the main operator, to better coordinate the actors of the public employment service.
