Bardella considers “irresponsible” a demonstration against “police violence” while the police are “exhausted”

The president of the National Rally, Jordan Bardella, considered the organization of a demonstration on Saturday in Paris “irresponsible” “Systemic racism, police violence and for social justice and public liberties”, in particular at the call of La France insoumise, on the set of “BFM Politique” this Sunday. A police car was attacked by protesters.

“At a time when the police are exhausted by an accumulation of absolutely difficult and painful events for the police (…), go and organize (…) a demonstration to put a target on the foreheads of the police officers . and gendarmes (…) who put their lives in danger to guarantee our security is irresponsible,” denounces the MEP.

Three people were arrested after the attack on a police vehicle during the demonstration. The Minister of the Interior, Gerald DarmaninHe later condemned this attack, speaking of “unacceptable violence.”

“I am not in favor of prohibiting demonstrations a priori,” stressed Jordan Bardella.

“On the other hand, I believe that the disruptive elements linked to the ultra-left must be put to safety and probably preventively,” the MEP stated then.

Referring to the video of the attack on the police vehicle on Saturday, the head of the RN denounces “images that are difficult to see”, in which appear, according to him, “ultra-left activists who” are not only there to fight, but also to kill policemen”.

“What I find difficult to understand is that the Nupes have an almost unhealthy and obsessive need to fuel hatred against the police and fuel hatred against the police in a period when (…) our law enforcement agencies They are sold out,” Jordan Bardella said.
