An IL delegation was received this morning at Palácio de Belém, in Lisbon, two days after Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa requested an urgent hearing due to the situation in the healthcare sector.

“I believe that this testifies to the concern that the President of the Republic has regarding these matters, a concern that was shared during this conversation and also to this view that these phenomena that are taking place are phenomena that, if there is no structural intervention in the system is, will repeat themselves,” he stated.
