Adrien Quatennens has thus delegated his vote to another parliamentarian, and not to his deputy because sick leave is not one of the cases in which this substitution is possible.
His possible return divides
The return of the deputy from the North divides the seats of the National Assembly. This Wednesday, Alexis Corbière expressed his desire to see Adrien Quatennens in the hemicycle.
“He will have to return, hopefully (…) but humanly he is not in a position to return now,” said on RTL.
On the contrary, the head of the PCF, Fabien Roussel, estimated that the former number two of the LFI cannot continue being a deputy and advocated “zero tolerance” on this issue. As a reminder, only a judicial decision condemning him to disqualification or his own decision can lead a deputy to leave the National Assembly.
