In the coming days, delegates will debate and vote on more than 1,900 proposed changes to the budget, a new record.
The parliamentary leader of the PS indicated that his bank will approve proposals “from different parties, with the exception of the party of the extreme right which is an anti-democratic system”, referring to Chega, and stressed that the Socialists “have drawn a red line that will last until the end of this parliamentary term”.
Eurico Brilhante Dias indicated that these are “proposals of very different dimensions, from public administration to the field of the organization of public services, some things in the field of health care, in the operation of public enterprises”.
“This is only the first dimension of the budget, the fiscal part will come later,” he indicated, noting that the PS should announce “day by day” the proposals that the majority will approve.
