“We celebrate the 50th anniversary of April 25 and that date is the date we also celebrate”.

The initiative comes after the municipal council on October 11 approved a condemnation vote for the announcement of the November 25 celebrations by the chairman of the municipality, at the proposal of the PCP, because it “constituted an attempt to reduce the dimension and meaning of the revolution of April”.

The vote was approved with votes in favor from PS, BE, PCP, Citizens for Lisbon and Free and against votes from PSD and CDS-PP.
