Delegates from PS, PCP and BE call for an “immediate, lasting and sustainable” ceasefire

A group of deputies from the PS, PCP and BE called this Monday for an “immediate, lasting and lasting ceasefire” to stop the escalation of violence in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Israel and to join the UN challenge.

Delegates recalled that at the end of October the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution on the protection of civilians and the fulfillment of legal and humanitarian obligations, taking into account “the deterioration of the situation in the Gaza Strip and the remaining occupied Palestinian areas, including East Jerusalem, and in Israel.”

In this resolution, the United Nations called, among other things, for “an immediate, lasting and sustained humanitarian ceasefire leading to the cessation of hostilities” and demanded “the immediate, continued, sufficient and unhindered supply of essential goods and services to civilians throughout Gaza.” Strip”.

“Call to revoke the order for Israel, the occupying power, Palestinian civilians and United Nations personnel, as well as humanitarian and medical workers, to evacuate all areas of the Gaza Strip north of Wadi Gaza and move to South Gaza ” added the same.
