In addition to Passos Coelhos, former Prime Ministers José Manuel Durão Barroso and José Sócrates will also be heard today in the trial in the EDP case as witnesses at the Lisbon Central Criminal Court.
Unlike Passos Coelho, Durão Barroso preferred not to make statements upon arriving at the court.
