The deputies want to control the soft operation of the investigation related to the Betharram case. According to our information, Violette Spillegout (Renaissance) and Paul Vannier (LFI), Co-Reporters of the Research Commission on State Control Methods and the prevention of violence in schools will go to the Ministry of National Education this Thursday, March 13 to exercise “their research powers on documents and on the site” in the Ministry.
The deputies will request specific documents “to question the responsibility of the State, in particular of François Bayrou, in the case of Betharram,” says Deputy LFI in BFMTV.
They will also use this right to find out about other establishments that we have recently heard, such as Parisian Lycée Stanislas.
This “research power on pieces and on the site” allows the rapporteurs of a research commission to request that they receive documents or any necessary information for the investigation. Clearly, this power gives them the right to access any document to facilitate their research mission.
