“An important issue for French security.” In an interview with El Parisino, on Saturday, March 15, Bruno Retailleau said he did not want to yield in the Algerian Archive, revealing a possible resignation to the government if necessary.
“As long as I have the conviction of being useful and the media give me, they will mobilize me. But if they asked me to give this main theme for the security of the French, I would obviously reject it,” said Interior Minister questioned in his place in the government if he was prevented from going to the end of the Algerian archive.
In a context of tensions with Algiers, Bruno Retailleau announced on March 3 that a list of “dangerous nationals” would be established in the French territory. This Friday, March 14, a list of sixty names in the afternoon would be sent to Algiers, a government source told BFMTV.
The threat of a “graduated response”
“Now, my line, which is from the balance of power with Algeria, is that of the Government. If Algeria does not resume its dangerous nationals, we will participate in a graduated response,” the Interior Minister of the Parisian hit. “At the end of the answer, there will be questioning of the 1968 agreements.”
“Years have spent since France has been delivering to Algeria, but why return? Humiliation is enough,” added Interior Minister on the subject.
