Hospital caregiver suicides: Elisabeth Borne, Catherine Vautrin and Yannick Neuder covered by a complaint

A complaint for moral harassment, homicidal violence of Dumplety and endangering the person appeared this Monday, April 14 against the three ministers. The 19 people (caregivers and families of caregivers) at the origin of the complaint collectively denounce the deterioration of working conditions in the public hospital.

A complaint was filed for moral harassment and homicide against the Ministers of Labor, Health and Solidarity, Catherine Vautrin and Higher Education, Elisabeth went to denounce the suicides of caregivers of the public hospital in a context of degradation of working conditions, announced on Monday, April 14, the lawyer of the plaintiffs.

The delegated minister responsible for health and access to Yannick Neuder care is also affected by these accusations.

This complaint, filed last Thursday before the Court of Justice of the Republic (CJR) by 19 people, caregivers and widows, also points to the violence of violence against death without the intention of giving it and endangering the person, learned BFMTV.com confirming information revealed by France Inter and Le Monde.

Catherine Vautrin’s entourage did not want to make “comments at this stage.” Elisabeth Borne was not immediately accessible.

“The hospital has experienced a great crisis for many years that seems to have worsened since around 2012-2013, for the continuous application of neoliberal public policies that, despite many particularly disturbing alert signs, of which suicides, have not been corrected, otherwise,” is written in the preamble of the complaint.

The degradation of working conditions has accelerated since the health crisis of COVVI-19, of the spring of 2020, points to the lawyer of the plaintiffs, Maître Christelle Mazza, who requests the application of the jurisprudence of the telecommunications of France. Two former group leaders (now Orange in 2013) were sentenced for institutional moral harassment in September 2022 by the Paris Court of Appeals.

“Jurisprudence France Télécom must be imposed on ministers as in any commercial manager in the name of the principle of equality before the law, in particular when there are such attacks on the integrity of the person,” reacted AFP to the lawyer.

“Any commercial manager who would implement massive and repeated restructuring policies as in the public hospital with such consequences in working conditions would already be convicted and the company closed,” he added.

This complaint denounces “totally illegal and mortal working conditions”, “unbearable rhythms” in different medical bodies, specialties and regions of France, and “organized impunity against the authors of the facts.”

“The alerts rose by file individually or systemically they are completely ignored,” is specified. The CJR is the only jurisdiction trained to continue and judge government members for crimes committed in the exercise of their functions.
