The investigation judges continue the investigations
This follows a report by the National Commission of Campaign Accounts and Political Financing (CNCCFP) received by the Paris Prosecutor’s Office in 2023 and a preliminary start of the investigation into the Marine Le Pen campaign accounts in 2022.
The various reports received were subsequently sent to the investigative judges who carry out the investigations, said the Paris Prosecutor’s Office in BFMTV.

“CNCCFP complaints do not depend on any legal notion,” said Jordan Bardella this Thursday.
At the end of March, the national demonstration and several of its members were sentenced in another case, the trial of parliamentary assistants of European deputies. This conviction questions a possible candidacy of Marine Le Pen for the presidential elections in 2027. According to the president of the RN Jordan Bardella, the conviction is a “financial death of the party” since the party from afar owe more than 3.5 million euros to the European Parliament. In this file, an appeal trial could take place, whose decision could take place in the summer of 2026.
