Bruno Retailleau confirmed this Friday, May 16, his intention to dissolve by decree in the Council of Ministers of the Palestinian emergency group, that of the young guard, an anti -fascist movement and a popular group, a distant group.
In a statement published on Friday, Interior Minister recalled that he had initiated contradictory procedures aimed at these three groups on April 29.
The minister criticizes these three groups “of provoking violent actions against people, provocations often followed by effects.”
“Enjoy collaboration with Nazism”
With respect to Lyon Popular, he criticizes “for the apology for collaboration with Nazism and for causing hatred, violence and discrimination against foreigners.”
As for the emergency of Palestine, he accuses the group of “praising a terrorist organization like Hamas, of asking intifada in the national territory and causing hatred, violence or discrimination against the Jews.”
The managers of these groups had until May 9 to transmit their observations. But, said the ministry, the “in depth” exam of these “did not lead to question the very serious facts that were accused.”
Consequently, Bruno Retailleau has announced that he would propose the registration of the decrees to dissolve these groups on the agenda of a next Council of Ministers. What should be the case in the next fifteen days, it was explained around.
Palestine emergency dissolution “in complete genocide”
As soon as the emergency dissolution procedure of Palestine and the young guard, protest meetings were organized on May 6 in several cities, including Paris.
On Monday, Amnesty International France, for the voice of its president, Anne Savinel-Barras, estimated that an emergency dissolution of Palestine “in the midst of a genocide in the Gaza Strip, would be a very serious act.”
The candidate for the presidency of his LR party whose campaign ends at midnight this Friday, Bruno Retilleau argued that the government “could not let violence be common and become a mode of expression among others.”
“Given the entertainment of society whose dramatic consequences we see every day, he continued, the State cannot tolerate such groups to continue exalting hatred and violence with impunity, regardless of their political or ideological orientation.”
