Congress of the Socialist Party: Olivier Faure’s team claims to come in the first round

Olivier Faure team said Tuesday that the orientation text transported by the first secretary of the Socialist Party leads the votes, ahead of Boris Vallaud and Nicolas Mayer-Possignol.

Olivier Faure’s team said May 27 that the guidance text carried by the first secretary of the Socialist Party leads the votes. A vote destined to define the political line of the PS, within the framework of the Congress of the party that will be held in June in Nancy.

According to them, “participation should increase” around 23,000 voters, against 22,500 in the Marseille Congress in 2023. Olivier Faure’s team indicates to BFMTV that “after more than 95 federations that represent more than 92% of the stripped voters”, the text of Olivier Faure is ahead of Boris Vallaud and the largest of Rouen Nicolas Mayer Reer.

Following temporary results

Statements that will be taken with caution because, at this stage, the party has not yet been communicated any official results. The result of the ballot is analyzed by the rest of the left. The supporters of a presidential union, such as the head of marine environmentalists, expect the victory of Olivier Faure.

But Raphaël Glucksmann, who has just ruled out any participation in a primary, would prefer to see a good eye the victory of Nicolas Mayer-Rossignol, as well as Jean-Luc Mélenchon, who could establish his speech with a socialist “betrayal” against a socialist “real left”.
