Marine Le Pen will look at the fate of his mandate as Departmental Councilor for Pas-de-Calais

A new disappointment for Marine Le Pen? The Administrative Court of Lille must be returned this Wednesday, June 4, around 10 am, its decision on the local mandate of the Departmental Councilor of Pas-de-Calais, whose pattern of deputies of RN was automatically resigned on April 18 after its conviction for embezzlement of public funds.

No “new character”

Marine Le Pen’s lawyer took advantage of this hearing to present a priority issue of constitutionality (QPC) on the issue of automatic resignation inflicted on the head of a local mandate after a conviction to an inelegability sentence with provisional execution.

According to BFMTV’s information, the public reporter concluded that the transmission of this QPC was rejected, believing that he did not present a “new character.” A few weeks ago, an elected officer Mahorais had dropped an almost similar QPC. Therefore, it is for this reason that the public rapporteur concluded that Marine Le Pen’s request was rejected.

Marine Le Pen was sentenced to four years in prison, two years of which they were firm and a sentence of eligibility for “embezzlement of public funds” in the case of the eurosses of FN.
