While Emmanuel Macron finds his dissolution power next week, half of the French want him to use it, while 56% want the François Bayroun government to be revoked by a motion of censure, according to a IFOP fiducial survey for Sud Radio.
Half of the French (50%) said in the coming months a solution of the National Assembly and the organization of new legislative elections, nine points more than in June 2025. But only 34% think that Emmanuel Macron will implement it in the coming months.
As expected, those who want dissolution are in most among leftist supporters (62%), 72% of which were in rebel supporters and 58% among socialist supporters. They also have 68% in reconquest and RN supporters.
Majority for the adoption of a motion of censure
On the contrary, only 43% of the supporters of the right breath are favorable, and only 29% of the supporters of the presidential majority.
A majority (56%) also say that the François Bayroun government is overthrown by a motion of censure, 13 points more than in January 2025.
The supporters of LFI (87%), as well as RN supporters (67%) are largely favorable, compared to those of environmentalists (60%) and the PS (56%). But only 35% of the relatives of the Republicans and 18% of Renaissance supporters are for.
