Deputy Lr Olivier Marleix ended his days at the age of 54, this Monday, July 7. For 30 years of political life committed to the right, the elected official will have marked his territory of Eure-Et-Loir as a national political life, especially during the 2023 pension reform.
The announcement of his disappearance aroused a wave of transpartisal taxes, all greeting a “man of conviction”, “passionate” and “always respectful.” An experienced gaullist, Olivier Marleix, was the son of former Secretary of State Alain Marleix.
In Eure-Et-Loir since the 90s
President of the Youth Committee for the candidacy of Édouard Baladur in 1995, gradually made his classes and settled in Eure-Et-Loir as director of Cabinet of Taugourdeau Marcial to the General Council of the Department in 1998.

Plins without laughing, this man with high stature and the rant skull, had benefited paradoxically from the defeats of his party to reach important parliamentary responsibilities.
Pension reform as a key file
Between 2022 and 2024, while his party hesitates in the middle of a crisis, Alain Marleix’s son was appointed president of the party in the National Assembly. He had significantly opposed the pension reform and was a fervent opponent of the policy led by Emmanuel Macron, who praised a “experience of experience.”
