The European prosecution announced that it has opened an investigation into the national rally, Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella’s Party, as well as its allies from afar in Brussels, suspicious of several financial irregularities this Tuesday, July 8.
“The European Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation,” said its AFP spokesman, without giving more details “not to compromise the results of the investigation.”
With its partners of the former identity and democracy group (ID), it is suspected that this French party has “missed” more than 4.3 million euros between 2019 and 2024, according to a report of the financial affairs of the institution of Brussels, revealed by several media in early July.
