Duplom’s law crystallizes tensions. Nine attacks against parliamentarians have been identified within the framework of the debates around this law that establishes the reintroduction in a derogatory condition and in conditions of a pesticide of the neonicotinoid family, the Ministry of Interior indicates.
“Most of the facts are degradations of permanence, meetings against permanence or outrages on social networks,” Beauvau Absume.
Of these nine attacks against parliamentarians, seven come from opponents of the law and two of support for the law, according to our information.
Among the pro-right Dupomb on February 1, one hundred beekeepers gathered before the permanence of Senator Lr Laurent Dupumb, whose law is named. Then, on May 18, about twenty farmers met against the permanence of the environmental member Lisa Belluco. They deposited straw boots with inscriptions “do not lead the Duplom” and “stop the transition”: a gesture qualified as “destruction of permanence” by the authorities.
A deputy qualified as “murderer”
On the Dupomb foist anti-abogers, people threw eggs and made the graffiti qualified as “hostile” by the authorities about the permanence of Senator Laurent Dupomb on June 29. A police officer was injured when one of these people arrested. On the same day, the duplicate docomanies were stuck to the permanence of deputy Epr Bastien Marchive. This is there again as a “destruction of permanence” by the authorities.
More serious data: on July 11, a surfer described “Assassin” as deputy Epr Sandra Marsaud, who had published his support for farmers on Facebook.
Internet users also published on Facebook and Instagram a publication that has the title “Antoine Armand and Véronique Riotton (two deputies, editor’s note) vote for the poisoning of our children and the destruction of biodiversity”.
On July 17, two people were arrested while they hit posters in the permanence of deputy RN René Lioret. “The posters presented the fact that the deputy had voted the law of DUPRO,” the authorities say.
The same day, posters enclosed in the permanence of the MP Mode Delphine Lingemann were found. “Here are the deputies and the deputies who voted for the Dupomb Law, the living will judge them,” depends on reading.
On our set this Monday, July 21, the Deputy Horizons Loïc Kervran also claim to be the object of pressures. “I am written and I am looking forward to having cancer. I would like my children to have cancer because I voted for the law of DUPLO. We put posters in my commune and those in which my children went to the nursery and the school,” describes the elected official of the Cher.
“It is really a level of democratic debate, false news and the use of emotion in this issue of cancer that is unbearable,” deplores.
Acetamipride, the pesticide in question, is claimed by beets and hazelnut producers, who believe they have no alternatives against pests and suffer from unfair competition of their European competitors. On the contrary, beekeepers warn against “a bee murderer.” The left and environmentalists denounce their environmental impact. Its effects on humans are also a source of concerns, even if the risks remain uncertain, due to the lack of important studies.
The Dupomb Law, presented by its defenders in response to manifestations in the agricultural world in 2024, contains other controversial measures, on the ANS or water storage role for crop irrigation (Mega-Bassines). A petition was launched against this law on July 10 and already collected more than 1.4 million signatures this Monday afternoon.
A large extent above the required threshold of the 500,000 to obtain a debate in the session on this request, if the conference of presidents of the National Assembly, which sets the agenda, decided in mid -September during the start of the parliamentarian.
