Invited to BFMTV this Thursday night, Raquel Garrido spoke about the opening at the end of October -and confirmed this Thursday- of two judicial investigations by the National Financial Prosecutor’s Office (PNF) related to the role of consulting firms in the electoral campaigns of 2017. and 2022.
Based on a report from the Senate Investigation Commission dated March 16, which assured that the contracts entered into between the State and the cabinets had “more than doubled” between 2018 and 2021, for a record amount of more than 1,000 million euros in 2021, Raquel Garrido criticized French politics and those in power.
“Power and wealth are in the hands of few people,” lamented the member of Seine-Saint-Denis.
He continued: “These French oligarchs have stripped the State, removing officials and depriving administrations of meaning, to give tasks to cabinets that have produced things of the order of ‘shit’.”
Le Parisien said on Thursday that justice was investigating the financing of Emmanuel Macron’s campaigns, but this was not confirmed by the PNF, which did not name any candidates in its press release.
Raquel Garrido continues to ask that “someone take charge” of an “effectively shady and politically unacceptable embezzlement of public funds.”
