The candidate supported by the Renaissance Nathalie Coggia was first, this Sunday, September 28, at the end of the first round of the partial legislative organized in the 5th French district abroad, and will face the second round of the rebel Martha Peciña, announced the two women in X.
The outgoing deputy, Stéphane Vojetta (Renaissance), of which Nathalie Coggia was a substitute, was declared inelegable in July by the Constitutional Council due to irregularities in the costs of his campaign, in this constituency that Spain covers Spain, Portugal and Monaco.
Left division
Martha Peciña entered the second round despite the division on the left, with a PS candidate and another public square. The environmentalists had argued Martha Pecina, regretting that the PS and the public place, the Raphaël Glucksmann party, did not respect the agreement between the forces of the new Popular Front in 2024, which had attributed this district to LFI.
The leader of LFI Jean-Luc Mélenchon congratulated X the candidate, who “exceeds the organized division to the left and ensures the presence in the second round of the LFI-EELV coalition.”
