A program, but not candidate. Applications to replace Johanna Rolland at the head of the City of Nantes (Loire-Atlantique) are beginning to make known. Otherwise, some parties express their intention without revealing a candidate for the moment. This is the case of environmentalists, gathered this Sunday, September 28 during the Ecology Festival.
As the Hilo Chief of Ecologists Marie Vitoux tells our colleagues in Loire Ocean, this celebration was said to reveal 160 flagship measures of the “Common ambitions” program.
You can find an ecological adaptation plan for schools against climate change, more social housing between current or planned constructions to “respond to 38,000 people waiting for homes in the metropolis”, mutual health insurance or the ambition to make the ERDRE so litigable in the manner of Seine in Paris.
Decision in mid -October
The Greens also intend to fight against the project of an Administrative Detention Center (CRA) scheduled for June 2027. “For us, it is specifically a project that does not take place in our city, but that does not have its place anywhere in our country since it is a prison for foreigners who have not been convicted, or even judged. It is a social project in foundations of race,” said Marie Vitoux.
But the program does not mean a candidate: the representative of the environmentalists will be revealed in a few days. At the moment, a decision on a coalition with the socialist Johanna Rolland has not been made, as taken in previous mandates, or a unique candidacy.
“We are very attached to internal democracy among environmentalists and we have a militant vote in mid -October that will decide the strategy of environmentalists and citizens in the first round [des municipales]”He added to the leader.
