The National Group and France Insoumise announce motions of censure
Rebellious France and the National Rally have promised to censure the new government.
“A tip for newcomers: don’t unpack your boxes too quickly. Censorship is coming. And Macron’s departure will follow,” wrote Mathilde Panot in X.
Marine Le Pen, for her part, indicated that a motion of censure will be presented on Monday. “The President of the Republic must announce the dissolution of the National Assembly as soon as possible,” he added.
LR ministers who entered Sébastien Lecornu’s government excluded by the party
Sébastien Lecornu’s LR ministers will be excluded from the party.
“On October 10, the Political Bureau of the Republicans voted against the participation of LR in the government. Consequently, the members of LR who agreed to enter the government can no longer claim to be LR,” the party indicates in a statement.
