“It’s bullshit.” Marine Le Pen reacted this Friday, October 24, during a speech before the Louvre Museum to the ultimatum launched by Olivier Faure in the morning on BFMTV to the Prime Minister.
“The word is said: the PS will obviously support the government until the end. Perhaps all this is already organized, there is a written scenario, the sets are by Sébastien Lecornu, the texts are by Olivier Faure,” declared the former candidate for the presidential elections.
“All this is written in advance, they stage their disagreements, when everything is already agreed upon,” he adds, criticizing a “cardboard negotiation.”
Furthermore, asked about the presentation of a new motion of censure, the RN deputy for Pas de Calais indicated that “it does not prohibit anything.”
“There is a 100% chance that we will not agree with the PLF (funding bill), the PLFSS (social security financing bill), it is an attack on the middle classes (…) and that is not admissible for us,” he adds.
“It would have been over.”
On the BFMTV program this Friday morning, Olivier Faure threatened government censorship. “Today there is a reality, and that is that if in the next few hours, approximately until next Monday, there were no significant evolution on the text, there would be no room for maneuver granted on the 2026 finance bill, on the State budget and on the Social Security budget, (…) it would have been over,” summarized the head of the socialists.
The RN leader is not the only one who reacted to Olivier Faure’s comments. The president of the modern deputies of the National Assembly denounced the
“Blackmail through the press is not a way of debate. Democrats will continue to avoid these harmful scenarios,” wrote Marc Fesneau.
