These secondary and high school students, students, elected officials, representatives of organizations and associations from all over France have embarked on “a cycle of work that will last a few months and that should lead to an inter-ministerial road map on youth”, indicated the Prime Minister. during this first National Refoundation Council (CNR) dedicated to youth.
“The emancipation of youth emerged as a guideline for these debates around four issues of great concern: the daily life of young people, the construction of their professional future, ecological action, and civic commitment,” according to a Matignon press release. .

Starting in January, the Head of Government will bring these participants together each month around each of these themes, during the “Youth Meetings in Matignon”. An “inter-ministerial road map” will be presented in spring “to define the priorities of young people and propose concrete solutions.”
“There are issues of discrimination, of orientation, of inequalities that we may have in the possibilities of accessing a good internship”, quoted Elisabeth Borne, according to whom “it is our responsibility not to stop assigning according to their territory or their environment of origin”.
In front of the Ministers of Education, Pap Ndiaye and of Higher Education, Sylvie Retailleau, among others, the young speakers spoke about inclusion through sport, an extension of the RSA (revenu de solidarité active) to those under 25 years of age and still equal opportunities.
