“Les Bleus made me very proud”: Macron hails the victory of the French team against Morocco

The Head of State, present in Qatar for the semifinal, confirmed his presence in the Argentina-France clash this Sunday.

“There are never two without three.” Emmanuel Macron greeted the victory of the Blues against Morocco and their qualification for the World Cup final in Qatar.

“They filled me with pride,” said the President of the Republic, confirming his presence in Lusail for the Argentina-France clash. “They’ve dominated the game.”

The Moroccans “did a very big semifinal”

Emmanuel Macron also thought about the Atlas Lions who will face Croatia on Saturday afternoon.

“They had an extraordinary journey during this World Cup, they had a very big semi-final and it took the dominance of this French team. […] who knew how to put up with the game”, continued the head of state.

“Starting tonight we prepare for the final and we won it,” concluded Emmanuel Macron.
