A media and political return that displeases Fabien Roussel. Adrien Quatennens has planned to return “probably as early as January” to the National Assembly after being sentenced on Tuesday to four months in prison for domestic violence and “regular and malicious sending of messages” to his wife.
“We in the Communist Party judge that this is a serious condemnation and these are cases that do not allow candidates to run (in the elections) or serve in the group. We call on those convicted to resign from their posts”, judged the head of the Communist Party this Thursday morning on BFMTV.
Removed from LFI group until April 13
The one that many saw as a future presidential candidate in 2027 receives a 4-month “temporary leave” from his group, offering him the possibility of sitting down again on April 13. His return is also “conditional on his commitment to follow an accountability course on violence against women” with feminist associations.
Therefore, Adrien Quatennens will return to the Palais-Bourbon by then as an unregistered and non-insubordinate deputy within France.
