An “egregious defamation”. This Thursday afternoon, Marine Le Pen announced on her Twitter account a defamation complaint against Louis Boyard.
The LFI deputy from Val-de-Marne had published, at noon, another tweet in which he directly linked the violence of the extreme right in the streets of various cities in France at the end of the World Cup semifinal between France and France. Morocco and the election of 89 RN deputies to the National Assembly last June.
According to him, the political act would have “liberated the violence of the extreme right”.
“They are organizing racist fights in our streets, attacking our events,” he added, citing a video from local outlet Lyon Mag.
The deputy for Pas-de-Calais and president of the RN group in the Assembly reacted like this on social networks: “Mr. Boyard will explain this atrocious defamation before the criminal court.”
Gérald Darmanin also noted
Louis Boyard’s tweet not only mentions the National Rally but also the Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, whom he considers too lenient towards these far-right groups.
“Politics, the words of Darmanin, who supports their ideas and lets them act, encourage this violence,” he lamented.
The Minister has not yet reacted to this attack.
