Marine Le Pen made her political comeback this Sunday, with a trip to Hénin-Beaumont. Asked about BFMTV, she said she was prepared for this return to political confrontations.
“I get close [la rentrée] knowing that we are going to have to mobilize all our energies, all our convictions, all our abilities to be able to face the decisions of Emmanuel Macron that, today, hit the French hard”, he begins.
He says that he “regrets” that the National Assembly has not yet restarted, and recalls having requested an extraordinary session to discuss energy issues, which was denied. “So we’ll have to wait until October,” he laments.
“Urgent decisions” will be made on purchasing power
“We offer our weapons to defend the French”: after entering the National Assembly after the last legislative elections, the National Association wants to make the purchasing power crisis its main focus. “Urgent decisions have to be made, unfortunately, but also for justice, insecurity,” says Marine le Pen.
“They speak to us of scarcity, of rationing. We are not a Third World country, and yet these words become everyday, regular. We try to get the French used to that,” he adds. The former presidential candidate also assures that she was not “conciliatory” this summer: “we had clues developed, they did not retain them.”
As a last word, he also returned to the death of Queen Elizabeth II. “I think it affects all Europeans, acknowledges Marine Le Pen. We were almost convinced that the Queen was immortal. She crossed the century very bravely.”
