Jordan Bardella wants RN to take “the lead in opposition to the pension reform”

The president of the National Association reiterated his opposition to the reform project a few hours after its official presentation by the government.

The new president of the National Group, Jordan Bardella, said that he wanted to “lead the opposition to the pension reform” this Tuesday during his wishes to the press.

Elected at the beginning of November at the head of the far-right party, Jordan Bardella estimated that “the RN will have shown [en 2022] once again his solidity, his maturity, his will to govern as well as his projection capacity”, after an electoral year marked by the third failure of Marine Le Pen in the presidential election, but the election of 89 deputies two months later.

Opposition in the Assembly but not in the street

If “the RN intends to take the lead in opposing the pension reform”, predicting that “the feeling of abandonment and injustice is causing a true clot of anger”, Jordan Bardella does not count as much to join the union and political demonstrations that are taking place they prepare, spurred on by the left.

“Maybe some of our constituents want to participate in these protests, it’s their choice, it’s their right,” he added, noting that “the best way to change politics is to use the ballot box.”

“The motion of no confidence will be the moment of truth”, he still estimated, on the contrary according to him “blockades” in the street “which very often penalize the French who work”.

Promotion of “la France du travail”

Six months after the forceful arrival of the Lepenista troops at the Palais-Bourbon, the MEP said he was eager to “win the battle of credibility”, surrounded during the act of greeting by dozens of RN deputies, including the first of them , Marine Le Pen. He only briefly mentioned “national preference,” an RN marker.

He, instead, stopped at “the France of work, effort, merit; the France that gets up early”, saying that he wanted to be “the voice of ordinary France”. “Work is a social requirement and a moral necessity,” he insisted.
