“We want dialogue, we have shown it in recent months.” Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne said she was ready to “develop further” the pension reform presented on Tuesday before it is presented to the Cabinet on January 23. A text that is opposed by the majority of the unions and the political opposition.
“We are open to discussion, we want it and we know what it brings,” said the head of government during a press conference.
“Therefore, it is not an end point, we are ready to continue developing our project and this will be possible thanks to a fair and constructive parliamentary debate,” he continued.
