Alexandra Reis did not declare the 500,000 euros she received from TAP as compensation for her departure from the company to the Constitutional Court. This information was reported on Sunday by the newspaper Público, which checked the income statements that Reis, as manager of listed companies, should deliver.
It should be remembered that Alexandra Reis was director of TAP until February last year and president of NAV from July to November.
Legislation regulating public office holders stipulates that any increase in the value of assets above 50 national minimum wages must be reported to the Constitutional Court within 30 days. Which, according to the profit and loss accounts consulted by Público, has not yet happened.
The manager will also have to provide income statements as Secretary of State for Finance, a position she held for 25 days between November and December and was released from four days after it was reported that she had left TAP’s administration with €500,000 in damages.
