In a minority principle and contrary to the measure, the Renaissance group called for the withdrawal of its troops to prevent this proposal from being adopted, estimating through its president Aurore Bergé that it was necessary to “help more those who have less” and pointing out the finger to “those who think that the children of the deputies need a meal for one euro”.

Controversy around a rejection
The rejection of this proposal generated a controversy, reproaching the Nupes to the majority for a lack of consideration for the issue of student precariousness.
