“Where is our money going?”: RN launches trailer campaign on purchasing power

The far-right party denounces Emmanuel Macron’s policy by evoking these “millions of French people who always pay more taxes, taxes” and have “the feeling that public service no longer continues”.

The National Group launches this Saturday “Where does our money go?”, a trailer campaign on purchasing power in which it denounces in particular the policy led by Emmanuel Macron. 100 public meetings are planned across France, according to the party’s president.

“It is the cry of the hearts of millions of French people who pay more and more taxes, taxes”, the president of RN Jordan Bardella assured this Saturday to the microphone of BFMTV, evoking the name of the campaign.

The deputy, who travels in the Sarthe, also assures that those same “millions of French” have “the feeling that the public function no longer continues, that the school, health, justice are collapsing, that security is no longer is insured, that transportation is no longer insured, especially in many rural areas.

“People wonder where their money is going,” he insisted again, assuring that his party offers “many savings,” particularly with regard to the budget for the European Union (EU) or immigration.

Bardella accuses Macron of being a “gravedigger of rurality”

The RN president says he wants to defend the idea of ”economic patriotism” in particular to allow France “to reconquer (its) autonomy and (its) sovereignty.”

At the opening of the agricultural fair this Saturday, Jordan Bardella also claims to “defend very specific measures” in favor of farmers and accuses Emmanuel Macron on Twitter of “walking like a gravedigger of rurality and French farmers.”

On the BFMTV microphone, the RN-elect explained himself and accused Emmanuel Macron of defending a model “that aims to put all our agricultural sectors in competition with sectors from all over the world”.

These comments refer in particular to the trade agreement concluded in 2019 between the EU and the Mercosur countries, but which has not yet been ratified. In early 2023, the vice president of the European Commission said that the EU expected to sign the agreement in July.
