National Refoundation Council: the health component launched on October 3 and divided into three parts

The Minister of Health, François Braun, announced this Sunday that a health CNR would begin on October 3 and would be divided into three national, territorial parts and in the form of a digital citizen consultation.

The component of the National Refoundation Council (CNR) dedicated to health, whose launch had been announced for the end of September, will begin on October 3 and will be divided into three parts, national, territorial and in the form of a digital citizen consultation, detailed the Sunday the Minister of Health, François Braun.

This great conference on the health system, “we will call CNR health because it will be a thematic variant of the National Refoundation Council. The idea is to start from scratch, to make to measure and not prefabricated à- goalkeeper descended from the ministry”, explains the minister in an interview with Sunday newspaper (JDD).

The starting signal will be “in the provinces, in a region where there are difficulties but where we innovate to face them,” he says.

National consultation, territorial meetings…

In a first part, “until spring 2023, (there will be) a consultation at the national level with key actors – health professionals and orders, elected officials, patient representatives – in order to address cross-cutting issues such as sharing skills “, Explain.

The second part, until the end of the year, will consist of “territorial meetings under the leadership of departmental pilots from regional health agencies, together with prefects and elected officials.” Finally, “the French will be offered a very broad digital citizen consultation with questions about their experience, which will be launched in mid-October.”

Emmanuel Macron has already assured that “the challenge of access to care” would be “at the heart of the matter” of this health CNR, judging “unacceptable” the difficulties of many French people in finding a doctor. François Braun, for his part, had promised that “the intensification of the fight against medical deserts is one of the priorities and (is) a clear objective” of the discussions.
