Olivier Besancenot, invited to the BFMTV set this Thursday night at the end of a new day of mobilization against the reform, considered that Emmanuel Macron was an “arsonist”. According to the NPA spokesperson, the President of the Republic “lights the fire and then tells the others to go put it out.”
“He must assume, it is his responsibility,” insisted the politician, questioned by the violence in the demonstrations against the pension reform.
“Having the skin of this project will be a founding act of everything,” added Olivier Besancenot on the pension reform. “If this project is withdrawn, it means that the social and political left, whatever its responsibility, regains control,” he continued.
Emmanuel Macron, however, intends to maintain the pension reform. The President of the Republic explained again last month that he would leave at the end of the text that he would “continue his democratic path” to enter into force “at the end of the year.”
“Macron serves as a great springboard for RN’s rise”
On Wednesday, the president’s entourage also responded to Laurent Berger, who mentioned a “democratic crisis” at the end of the meeting between the inter-union and Matignon. Words little appreciated by the Elysee. “We cannot speak of a democratic crisis. Words make sense, and if we abuse them, we take the extremes”, Emmanuel Macron’s entourage reacted.
“Emmanuel Macron serves as a great springboard for the rise of the RN”, for Olivier Besancenot. According to the NPA spokesperson, when asked about the Elabe’s recent poll for BFMTV, the president is the only one who “bears responsibility” for the rise of the extreme right.
