The Portuguese soccer team travels to Iceland this Monday, where they will carry out their last training session before Tuesday’s meeting with the local team, qualified for Euro2024.
Two days after the victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina (3-0), the “quinas” team leaves Lisbon at 11:00 am for Reykjavik, where it must arrive at 1:00 pm local time (2:00 pm in Lisbon).
The Portuguese coach, Roberto Martínez, and a player will speak to journalists at 5:00 p.m. local time (6:00 p.m. in Lisbon), at a press conference, one hour before training at the Laugardalsvöllur Stadium.
Iceland-Portugal, of the fourth day of Group J qualifying for Euro2024, is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. (7:45 p.m. in Lisbon) this Tuesday and will be refereed by the German Daniel Siebert.
The ‘quinas’ team leads the group with nine points, followed by Slovakia, which has seven, and Luxembourg, with four. They are followed by Bosnia and Iceland with three, while Liechtenstein have yet to score.
The top two of the group will qualify for the final round of Euro 2024, which will take place in Germany.
