The Portuguese striker Iuri Medeiros leaves SC Braga and will play for Al-Nasr SC, in Dubai, earning three million euros for Minho’s coffers. the news was advanced by Mais Futebol and confirmed by TSF.
The Dubai club is also responsible for paying the 28-year-old’s training rights, part of the amount allocated to Sporting, which he represented between 2005 and 2018.
In Braga since 2020 -first on loan from Nuremberg and then permanently-, Iuri Medeiros has played 116 games with the arsenaleros, scoring 26 goals and signing 24 assists.
In addition to the various academies and the Sporting main team, Medeiros also represented Arouca, Moreirense, Boavista, Genoa and Legia Waszawa, always on loan from the lions.
He was the Portuguese youth champion in 2011/2012 and won a League Cup in 2017/2018 with Sporting, also winning a Portuguese Cup in 2020/2021 with SC Braga.
Young Portuguese international, he represented all the categories between the sub-15 and the sub-21, also having a presence in the Olympic team.
