Coach Rafa Benitez replaces the Portuguese Carlos Carvalhal in the technical management of Celta de Vigo and signs a contract for three seasons, the Spanish football club announced on Friday.

Two weeks ago, Celta de Vigo announced the departure of Portugal’s Carlos Carvalhal, who joined the club in November on a contract until 2024.
The Portuguese coach took charge of the Galician formation at a time when it occupied 16th place in the Spanish league, just one point above the relegation zone, and finished the season in 13th place.
