In a statement sent to the Securities Market Commission (CMVM), Sporting’s SAD reports on the global agreement reached with Famalicão, which allows it to acquire 80% of the sports rights over Ugarte and 90% over Pedro Gonçalves (also known as ‘Pot’). ), both former Famalicense players.
In the information provided to the CMVM, it is explained that the largest investment was made in the purchase of another 40% of Pedro Gonçalves’ pass, for seven million euros, to which 700 thousand euros were added for “financing expenses”. resulting from the extension of payment”.
Regarding Manuel Ugarte, Sporting increases its participation by 10%, paying two million euros for this increase.
Both the Uruguayan and the ‘Pote’ have been among the most coveted players in the ‘Lions’ squad.
Sporting also reports that the solidarity mechanism, in the case of Ugarte, is supported by Famalicão, while for Pedro Gonçalves it is divided between the two clubs.
