The Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz, leader of the classification World Cup, qualified this Tuesday for the second round of Wimbledon, beating Frenchman Jeremy Chardy, 542nd in the hierarchy, in three sets.
Alcaraz, who is seeking his first victory in the British tournament, relatively easily beat a player who only participated in Wimbledon for having the classification protected, winning with partials of 6-0, 6-2 and 7-5, in one hour and 53 minutes.
