The Spanish striker Fran Navarro was officially confirmed on Wednesday as the first reinforcement of FC Porto for the new season. The 25-year-old player came over from Gil Vicente and signed a contract that runs until 2028.

Porto’s players invested around seven million euros last season in the third best scorer in the I Liga, with 17 goals in 34 games.
Fran Navarro was formed in Valencia after being hired in 2021 by the Gilistas, a club for which he scored 37 goals in 78 games during the two seasons in which he defended the club from Barcelos.
