This Saturday, Vizela achieved its first victory at home in the I Portuguese Soccer League, and the second in the competition, after six games without winning, by beating Portimonense 1-0, in a match on the eighth day.
A goal from the Brazilian central defender Anderson, in the 14th minute, sealed the triumph of the team led by Álvaro Pacheco, who had only triumphed on the opening day (1-0 at Vila do Conde).
The home team went on to add eight points, joining Desportivo de Chaves and Arouca in 11th place, while Portimonense, who had won five of the last six matches, took 15, in fifth position.
