Ticket prices for the first and second phases of the Football League Cup will be reduced “around 50%”, the Portuguese Professional Football League (LPFP) announced on Monday.
“The executive management of the Liga Portugal decided that the price of tickets for the first and second phase of the competition will range between 12 euros (maximum price) and four euros (minimum price), a reduction of around 50 percent, in comparison with the values practiced in 2022/23”, revealed the organization.
The LPFP reveals that this “is a first step” in the body’s policy of “putting fans at the center of all decisions”, as well as encouraging their participation in competitions, “starting with more adjusted ticket prices to its reality”. .
