The Belgian cyclist Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Deceuninck) achieved his fourth victory on Wednesday in the 110th Tour de France, by winning the sprint of the 11th stage, along with the Danish Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma) remaining in yellow.
At the end of the 179.8 kilometers between Clermont-Ferrand and Moulins, the Belgian extended his dominance in the sprints in this edition of the Tour, beating the Dutchman Dylan Groenewegen (Jayco AlUla) and the German Phil Bauhaus (Bahrain Victorious), second respectively and third at the finish line, with the same 04:01.07 hours as the winner.
In the general, Vingegaard kept the differences, with the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar (UAE Emirates) at 17 seconds and the Australian Jai Hindley (BORA-hansgrohe), at 02.40 minutes, before the 12th stage, which on Thursday will cover 168, 8 ‘undulating’ kilometers between Roanne and Belleville-en-Beaujolais.
