Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz won Wimbledon for the first time in his career this Sunday by beating Novak Djokovic in a five-set final.
The 20-year-old Spanish tennis player started badly and the Serbian prevailed resoundingly in the first set 6-1, but equalized the match in the second set by winning the tie break (7-6).
The third set brought a smile to Alcaraz, who responded with a 6-1, as he had suffered in the first set. But Djokovic did not throw in the towel and tied the match again at 6-3 in the fourth set.
In the haul of all the decisions, Carlos Alcaraz broke the Serb’s serve in the third game and won the tournament 6-4.
